Inverterzone App User Manual
Share
Once your Solar WiFi Dongle is installed and connected (see our Installation Guide), here's how to get the most out of the Inverterzone app.
Download & Login
Get the app for Android or iOS. It's free for life — no subscription or hidden charges.
Dashboard Overview
The home screen shows three live data streams:
- Solar Production: Real-time output from your panels, plus daily, weekly, and monthly totals.
- Battery Status: Current charge level and charge/discharge rate (if your inverter has a battery connected).
- Grid Usage: How much power you're pulling from or feeding back to the grid.
Timer Automation
Under Settings > Timer, you can schedule automatic switching between solar and grid (Wapda/KE) power — useful for maximizing solar self-consumption or avoiding peak grid tariffs, if your inverter model supports remote switching.
Alerts & Notifications
Turn on push notifications under Settings > Alerts to get notified of:
- Sudden drops in solar production
- High grid usage
- Battery running low
- Inverter going offline
Historical Data
The History tab lets you review past daily, weekly, and monthly performance — useful for spotting shading issues, panel degradation, or unusually high consumption days.
Remote Settings
Depending on your inverter model, you may be able to adjust certain inverter settings remotely through the app without needing a technician on-site.
Multiple Devices
If you manage more than one site (e.g. home and office, or multiple client installations as a dealer), you can add multiple dongles to a single account and switch between them from the device list.
